What is MyBuild ?
Embarking on a home extension, renovating or building a completely new home is one of the biggest investments you will make in your life. So, we made a simple tool to help you manage the process, remove the stress, frustration & overspend. Its simple enough that even your tradespeople can use it (We built MyBuild to be fat finger friendly 😂 )they dont even need to download an app! We all want an easy life..
The 3 Areas of MyBuild
MyBuild is split up into 3 areas to help you manage your project
Private Area
Your Private area will only ever be viewable by you, the project owner or anybody who you set as a project owner.

Private Document store - to keep all your paperwork associated with your project

Timeline - create moments on your timeline to capture the stages of your build for future reference e.g pictures of first fix, where your drains are, usefull stuff

Todo - a basic todo list for you 👍
Crew Area
Your Crew area is where you will share relevant documentation, specifications and manage any defects that need fixing. You can share anyway you want with a magic Pin number 👍

Plans - Keep all your plans in one place for easy access

Spaces - spec out each space in your build with the items that need installing or fitting into that space.

Defects - Create, assign and capture your defects as they occur to keep track of what needs fixing and when they are complete
Public Area
A simple area for you to add your inspirations, ideas, thoughts about the project, like a pintrest board for your project. You dont need to upgrade to share from your public zone

Inspirations - capture and share anything you want to create ides for your build. You can turn an inspiration into a space item if you want to use it in your project
Simple steps to get you up and running
Step 1. Create your project
Login to your free account and start accessing all your zones
Start your first project, create inspirations, store your important documentation, create spaces and spec out individual rooms and areas. upload all of the plans (dont worry you can update them if things change) get everything ready for your project before the start date 🙂
Step 2. Share to your crew
Just share your unique project pin with your crew via text or DM
Set up a project pin and unlock the share functionality in every part of MyBuild. Then all you have to do is share your plans and spaces with the right crew members:

The project doesn't stop when it ends
People love using MyBuild for managing the actual project but so much of our feedback is always about when the project finishes. Knowing that everything is stored in one place, easy to reference in the future (especially timeline for remembering where electrics and pipes are) and having details of everything they bought and installed with all the specs, manuals, guarantees, suppliers on hand whenever they need it.

Inspirations
At the start of your project you might just want to create a space to collate all the ideas you have. Its a simple place to upload pictures, links to products or anything else that want to share with your friends / family / architect / anybody that you want to 👍. If you want, you can then transfer inspirations into spaces to use within your project. You dont need a crew plan to share inspirations
